Topics covered in the exchange projects

Projects from the entire range of SDGs

Since its launch on 1 July 2016, the weltwärts exchange projects programme has proved very popular as a source of funding and it has been used by a wide range of applicants: parishes and conservation groups apply, as do organisations from the realms of international youth work and development cooperation. Almost all of the 17 SDGs have been focused on in one or more of the projects to date.

Topics covered by the youth exchange projects

Projects can focus on different aspects in their work on the chosen SDG. For instance, some concentrate on a dialogue process that enables the participants to reflect on global issues (e.g. the impact of colonial history on the present) whilst others are more practical in nature (e.g. the textile upcycling project in connection with SDG 12: Responsible consumption).

The table below shows topics covered by weltwärts youth exchange projects to date. If you have an idea for a project and would like to find out more about how to implement it, feel free to contact the weltwärts exchange projects team. You’ll find their contact information on the left.
